Beliefs

Our beliefs:

  • The Bible is the true, authoritative and living Word of God—an amazing account of God’s love and faithfulness to us, and a manual for the way we live our lives.
  • There is one God, eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is the living Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, arose, ascending to heaven, and will return again.
  • The Holy Spirit is the living and active presence of God in us, empowering us to live our lives in a way that glorifies God.
  • Sin separates us from God and, apart from Jesus Christ, all people are spiritually lost and deserve the judgment of God. However, God gives salvation and eternal life to all who trust in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. Salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human effort—it’s a gift given to those who repent and desire God’s forgiveness.
  • Believers in Jesus Christ are united together in God’s family, the Church.
