These critical teams are the key to making things happen at CRC on a weekly basis! This is a great place to start serving. We provide training for each team!
DOTs - Disciples of Tidiness
Work behind the scenes to prepare the Worship Center for Sunday mornings. This includes restocking rows, and most importantly, praying for each and every person that walks through our doors as you walk through the rows.
Prepare supplies for the sacrament of communion which is served the first Sunday of each month.
Brew and resupply coffee in the lobby on Sunday mornings. Provide the opportunity for people to socialize and meet new friends over a cup o’ joe.
Open a door and say “hello” to CRC’s guests, friends, and families. Serve at specific locations on campus once or twice a month.
Guest Services Team
Provide guests with information and answers about our church and its ministries.
Create a friendly and fun experience in our parking lot by welcoming people and directing traffic.
Resource Center Team
Equip people with discipleship and worship resources for purchase. Training provided in operating registers and card readers.
Welcome every person into the Worship Center and make the overall experience an awesome, distraction-free environment. Assist with seating, collecting the weekly offering, and serve communion.
Our Alpha team has opportunities for any level: serving dinner, preparing dinner, prayer team, group leader, and more! Next Alpha Session begind March 5th, 2017.
CrossRoad cares about kids! We want children to experience just how much Jesus Christ can change their lives. Contact Amber Lipscomb or Carolyn Nelson with questions. Background check required for all serving with children.
Meet and greet parents as they check-in/drop off their pre-K kids. Help make sure classes are running smoothly. High School students eligible to serve.
Assist as directed with a small group to go over lesson and help make life applications for children. Lessons emailed weekly. All supplies prepared for group leader ahead of meeting. High School students eligible to serve.
KidQuest Check-In Desk
Check in children at the desk in the lobby.
KidNight Wednesday Night Volunteer
Lead a small group of children through activity stations during the evening, or lead one of the activity stations. Background check required for all serving with children. High School students eligible to apply.

Lives are transformed in groups. We want every person at CRC to get linked into one of CRC’s groups. Leaders and facilitators make groups happen.
Task Oriented Leaders
Variety of opportunities for adult groups of all ages (college thru senior adult) to select from: set-up/take-down, drivers, tech team, prayers, attendance recording, curriculum copies, etc.
Relational Oriented Leaders
Facilitate discussion and reflection for one of CRC’s campaign groups that mirrors a specific Sunday message series or is an independent study.
Alpha Course Facilitator
The Alpha Course reaches thousands of people without a faith affiliation each year. Help CRC reach them.

Serve with CRC’s Marriage and Family Ministry and help make good marriages great as well as help heal broken or struggling relationships.
CrossRoad Knitting, Etc.
Knit, crochet, or embroider hats, scarves, mittens, slippers, dolls, blankets that go all over the world to those in need. Want to learn? We will teach you!
This ministry focuses on assisting people to deepen their prayer experience and increase the power that God releases into situations as we pray. As our level of prayer increases, we will begin to see supernatural power being released to fuel all CRC’s ministries.
Sunday AM Prayer Team
Pray for each week’s worship service as it happens. Sundays at 10am in the Prayer Room.
MidWeek Prayer & Healing Time
Pray with a team for CrossRoad Church and any and all other needs and requests that are presented. Group meets Wednesdays in the WhereHouse.
Alpha Prayer Team
Join the team as we pray for leaders and attendees of Alpha to see and feel God move! Meets during Alpha, Mondays from 6:00-8:00pm.
The Call of CrossRoad Worship is simple: to GLORIFY God with dynamic, life-giving worship. The role that the music and performing arts plays on Sunday mornings is irreplaceable. We have been given the divine privilege of leading CrossRoad in worshipping God. Using music and arts as a vehicle, worship provides a way for people to Connect with God.
Sunday Worship Adult Choir
Present music in worship throughout the year. The choir sings a wide range of music and performs at least two large works every year. Open to all who want to make a joyful noise for the Lord!
Assist in operating Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, or special events with PowerPoint, sound, lights, and video in the Worship Center, WhereHouse, or Connection Center. Training provided. High School students eligible to apply.
Children’s Performing Arts represents our K-5 children at CRC. Children learn about God, music, and using their gifts for the Lord. Children present two special concerts that involve singing, acting, and movement.
Administration “adds ministry” capability to all our endeavors and serving areas.
Various Volunteer Opportunities
Serve at the reception desk during the week, as a mail stuffer, data entry, and other facility needs.
Computer Database Updating
Detail work, data entry, and updating data.
