CrossRoad Church UMC (CRC) and its Outreach Leadership Team (OLT) have established a scholarship fund for short-term mission trips as an opportunity to serve individuals who are either CRC members or attending a CRC supported mission trip. Scholarship funds are intended to assist those who are in financial need and would be otherwise unable to attend the trip without this resource.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete the form below no later than 8 weeks prior to expected departure date. If request is submitted less than 8 weeks prior to travel, the “Deadline Exemption Request” section of the form must be completed. Once submitted, you will receive an e-mail confirming your request has been received that will include a timeline for the review process. Please note, if approved, scholarship recipients will be assigned a CRC outreach team liaison. Recipients of funds will be required to:

• provide a list of financial supporters,
• communicate with and update CRC outreach team liaison, and
• submit both a Team Member Evaluation and Continued Involvement Plan, found on the CRC website, upon completion of their trip.

Unless otherwise arranged and approved, all funds awarded are issued to host agency no more than two weeks prior to departure date.
